You plucked me out,
holding me gently in your hand
as you took a whiff.
You told me this,
that I was so beautiful
as I still grew.
You put me down
to pick up a dried blossom
and tried to forget.
You consider us,
that you may want my bloom
as not like the dry.
I try to forget
that you uprooted me from my plot
and made me fall.
I don’t want you
to forget all that we had though…
since I won’t.
Control can make you go crazy.
Jut remember that the only thing that you can actually control is yourself.
I want to be a soldier.
They are trained to handle
the toughest of situations,
how to fight tough
when something is
worth fighting for,
how to carry heavy loads
and oh, so much more.
I want to be a soldier
and protect something
precious to others,
protect those who can’t
even protect themselves,
and I want to be a saver…
someone who rescues
even the strongest
and never waver.
And I want to be a soldier
so I will never need a shoulder.

the claws drag across the pristine
too fast, far too fast
leaving

though an expiration lies ahead

since most souls forget and don’t

but all too soon, it’s flashes by instead

Letting someone in
Often doesn’t seem easy.
Very hard will it be for your heart
Even to allow such feelings.
Longing for that touch that
Affects you deep down,
So you think you can’t live without it–
That it changes your life for good.
Searching always for that meaning.
Family and friendship
Over anything else
Reminds you of what’s important.
Even when you think you’re alone,
Vaulted up inside your own world,
Even when time seems too short…
Remember that love lasts forever.
