Nothing but clear blue skies,
rainbows and ponies,
sunshine and smiles,
laughter and stories.
Songs filled with hope,
watching children dancing,
only kind words spoke
and joyful hearts leaping.
All this to scare into submission,
the illusions of fear and terror,
ghosts, goblins and demons,
and sounds of a night darker.
So turn the night light on,
and pass me my blankie.
Theres nothing to be afraid of
though that movie was scary.
